Momar Seck is a Senegalese-Swiss visual artist, painter and sculptor who has been based in Geneva since 1996. He holds a PhD in Fine Arts from the University of Strasbourg and has gained international recognition through numerous exhibitions in Europe, Africa, North America and Cuba, including his participation in the Dakar Biennale of Contemporary African Art. He is the recipient of the UNESCO Prize for the Promotion of Art in 2004, among other honours.<\/p>\n
As Head of the Visual Arts Department at the International School of Geneva, Momar combines his artistic practice with a strong commitment to education and cultural exchange. He leads initiatives fostering collaboration between artists from Senegal, Switzerland and elsewhere, organising residencies, workshops and exhibitions that promote intercultural dialogue and support emerging talent.<\/p>\n
